Ocean/Boston Father's Day Party

Father's Day is coming up, so here is my 2017 Father's Day party that I never got around to sharing last year. My father loves the ocean. He grew up not far from the beach. Therefore, I themed my party around the beach, and his home-state's large city, Boston. The color scheme was red, white, blue and brown. I used shells and feathers I had gathered at the beach, I handmade the netting (There's tutorials online, but it took forever!), made the photo banner (which is pretty self-explanatory), and painted the recycled bottles, then wrapped them with twine. Most of the decor was already made from Robert's Seaside-themed Party. The frame and dishes were from the thrift store. I borrowed the plants from my mother, and she made the scrumptious cupcakes. There is a tutorial for the shell place cards here.

I hope you enjoyed! I look foward to sharing another post soon!

Easter Party, 2017

Hey, everyone! I've been caught up in homework, so it's been a long time since I last posted. Here's my 2017 Easter party. I put it together the morning of Easter, so it is very simple and minimalist.

I know, it's very small. But Mother's Day is coming up, and I'll be sharing a Frozen party in June. I'll be posting again soon, so be sure to come back!

St. Patrick's Day Party, 2017

Hey, everyone! I'm sorry I'm so behind on blogging! I've had a lot of homework, but thought I would try to do a few posts before Easter while I'm on spring break. Here is a party back from St. Patrick's Day. I kind of threw it together the day of (talk about last minute!), so it is very small and simple. Below I listed the links of the tutorials I used for some of the decor.

-For favors, I made these party poppers from Studio DIY.
-This pudding tasted really good! I lost the recipe, I'm afraid.
-I made this super easy and quick shamrock streamer using the tutorial from Studio DIY.

I have birthday, gift, and Easter posts planned for this week, so come back soon!

Valentine's Day Party at the Park, 2017

As I mentioned in my last post, I'm really behind on blogging. Remember the Valentine's Day Party at the Park from last year? Well, it's become a tradition! Here's a party held on the weekend of Valentine's Day at the same location. I handmade the heart backdrop, and plan on making a tutorial for it. I kind of threw everything together in less than three days, so it was very simple and last-minute. The color scheme was browns, white, green, pale pink, and gold. The food was provided by all of the guests. The diamonds were created using straws. The children and teens all exchanged Valentine's cards. It was fun!

I have more posts planned for next week!
