Classroom Christmas Tour, 2025

Hello! This is a really random post to share in January, but here is a quick tour of my classroom decorated for Christmas last year.

Maybe it can provide some future inspiration for Christmas 2026. The lights came from both thrift stores and Amazon (specifically the star LED lights came from Amazon). The brown ribbon was bought in a huge bulk roll from Amazon. It was around $10, decorated my whole bedroom, classroom, was used to embellish gifts, used for hair bows, and I still have tons left! The bells came from Dollar Tree but I painted them to look vintage. The garlands and pine cones came from thrift stores. I probably paid a total of $5 or less for them. I did run out of those and buy one strand from Walmart, which is unreasonably expensive, as it turns out. The other decorations I had on hand from thrift stores or they were given to me as gifts in years past.

I hope you enjoyed! Thank you for visiting!

Blessings,
Lauryn

Music-Themed New Year's Party (2024)

At last, well over a year late, here is a unique New Year's Eve/New Year's Day party theme from when it became 2024. I cannot take credit for this party as it was a collaborative effort put together by two of my best friends and myself. They did most of the music symbols 2024 poster, drew on the balloons, made music paper cut artwork, and some of the signs. We all love music with a passion, so it seemed a fitting theme to start the year with. I hope you enjoy the music party ideas shown below!

DIY Marvel (Easter) Gift Basket

To go hand in hand with the post I shared earlier, here is another themed Easter basket that could be used for any occasion, this time for Marvel fans. Again, I printed Marvel activities from the internet along with the clock from Loki, and I bought my brother a Hawkeye shirt I happened to come across in advance at Five Below. The card I handmade read "As you Marvel at the miraculous Easter story, I hope you enjoy this super gift!" But a card could say something like "I hope you have a marvelous birthday!" This gift was very simple, I like to keep celebrations Loki. Sorry, I'm going to stop now.

I hope you find this handy!

A Tour of My Art Classroom Throughout 2021

Hello, today I'd like to share some photos of my art classroom (used for middle school). I may not have mentioned it on the blog, but last fall I was hired as an art and drama teacher for grades K-12. These photos are from three different periods my first semester: my original decorations at the beginning of the semester, fall decorations, and Christmas decorations (they may be slightly out of order). I hope you enjoy the tour!

Thank you for visiting, I have more to share with you (hopefully soon)!
