Modern Boho Country/Prairie Adult Birthday Party

 Happy Sunday! This is a party I did last month with a modern, bohemian-sort of vibe but loosely themed around Georgia, the countryside, and florals. I was inspired by prairie-themed parties I saw online while searching for ideas. The balloons came from Walmart, the plants came from the thrift store (I found them that same day and was super excited), and everything else I had on hand. I borrowed the broom and angel from my grandparents, who also made the angel food cake.

Beatles-Themed Birthday Party

 

Hello! For my brother's last birthday back in August I threw a Beatles-themed birthday party that was black and white with some pops of primary colors. The décor included vintage cameras I had on hand, a borrowed drum that I taped a printed "Sargent Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" label to, records I cut from foam and wrote on with a Jelly Roll ink pen, a borrowed guitar, printed Beatles album photo, a borrowed album, and a handwritten poster. I used strawberry candies from Dollar Tree and wrote "Strawberry Fields Forever" above them. I also bought pretzel sticks called 'Pennysticks" and labeled them "Penny Lane Pennysticks". The party hat was made from a printed Beatles picture hot-glued into a cone and attached to an elastic headband.

Riley's Neon Horse-Themed 9th Birthday Party

 Hello, everyone! Today I'd like to share a horse-themed ninth birthday party that my cousin requested have a neon color scheme. I drew the poster, bought the balloons at Walmart (except for the stars and nine balloon, which were from Amazon), painted a number nine balloon I already owned with neon acrylic paint, as well painted the paper bags that held cookies and paper that I cut into letters for the banner, and drew the pun signs with highlighters and neon-ish markers. The other party favors consisted of neon slinky toys and smoothie lip balms from Walmart. I ended up using teas in place of lemonade because the tea packages matched perfect, so one of the signs was rather misleading. The photo backdrop was just wrapping paper I had on hand. The rest of the supplies were things my grandparents or I had on hand. They bought the candy balloon at Ingles.
