2019 Easter Party

For this year's Easter celebration, I chose a pale blue-and-white color palette with wood, lace and other elegant decor accents. I did a simple, modern calligraphy poster and made a small, blue balloon arch. I found some wildflowers from our yard for the centerpiece. I made everything the day of, so there wasn't a whole lot. Also, I didn't take pictures of the food, unfortunately. The napkin holders are super easy to make. I just twisted and cut pipe cleaners into crosses. 

I have a magical rainbow-themed girl's birthday party and lots of DIY gifts coming up!

Pastel Mother's Day Party, 2019

Hello and happy Mother's Day, everyone! It's been forever since I've had time to post, and I won't have much time for another until July, but I have several events and gift tutorials to catch up on. Today I just wanted to share my Mother's Day party decor, which was last minute and very simple. I wanted a happy, but unique look, so I went with pastels. For the brunch food, I made a healthy banana bread and paleo-vegan coffee truffles which we had with coffee. The flowers were from our yard. 

I'm afraid there's not much to show. For gifts I burned a cutting board with a custom design, and put it in a box with kitchen supplies and a candle. I hope you have a lovely day!
