Cinema-Themed Father's Day Party (2020)

Hey everyone! This is coming late, but today I am sharing a Cinema Father's Day party, and this theme could really work for birthdays and other events as well as for Father's Day next year. I wanted to do a new, unique theme for Father's Day that I thought my dad would like. Movie themes have been done at least a million times before, but I've never seen a movie or cinema party theme for Father's Day so I decided to go with that. I wanted a very subtle but colorful color scheme of primary colors, so I used dark yellows, blues, and reds with kind of a vintage style. I made the poster with acrylic paint and markers. With another poster, I painted blue strips that I folded and hot-glued together to make the wheel, painted and cut out the yellow star, and painted and cut out the black video camera silhouette. made the ceramic circus-tent bowl in a ceramics class, printed the popcorn cones from this great free printable resource (I printed mine on golden-brown card-stock), and had the other supplies on hand as decor around our house or in my party stash. The decor is very simple, especially since I had to throw the party together in a morning and literally the day after I threw together the party I shared in the previous post for my cousin Riley. I hope you enjoy and find this inspiring for upcoming events for men you may be planning.

Thank you for stopping by! I look forward to sharing a belated Fourth of July party and tutorials with you soon!
