Here is a tutorial on how to make magic wands. I made these as party favors way back in November for my brother's Wizard of Oz birthday.
You will need:
-Cheap wooden dowels at Walmart
-Scissors/knife/saw (optional)
-Black and white acrylic paint
-Sandpaper (optional)
-Paintbrushes
Now, first of all I cut each dowel into two or three wands. This is optional, however. If they are thin, scissors may do the trick, but a saw or knife works, too. Then sand down all of the edges. Next, paint the dowels white on the tips. When that dries, paint the middle black. Let them dry, and you are done!
