Here's a diy to the woodland party hats I did for my last party.
You will need:
-Party hats
-A glue gun with glue sticks
-Green tissue paper
-Black construction paper
-flowers (tissue or artificial)
-Pom-poms
-White card-stock (although normal paper may work too)
-Scissors
-A black pen
1.Get white card-stock and a pen. Draw doodly animal ears on it. (You'll likely need more than one piece.
2. Cut them out.
3. Using black construction paper, cut out a semi-circle type shape to wrap around the party hat.
4. Cut out leaves from green tissue paper.
5. Hot-glue the black construction paper to the hat, then trim the extra on the edges.
6. Hot-glue the leaves on now.
7. Fold the corners of the ears like in the picture below, then hot-glue them onto the party hat.
8. Add vines by twisting shreds of tissue paper, and add tissue paper or artificial flowers.
9. Hot-glue a pom-pom to the top.
10. You're finished!
And by the way, for the boy version, I just glued construction paper stripes on in place of the flowers and vines. And sorry about the blurry and low quality pictures. Enjoy!
