Vintage Letter or Number DIY

Here's a quick craft I came up with and will use for my upcoming birthday party. First, cut the number(s) or letter(s) out of cardboard.
Next, plug in a hot glue gun or prepare to use liquid glue (like Elmers). While it's heating up (if it's a hot glue gun you're using), rip up scrapbook paper, fabric, or whatever you plan to use. I used paper and a drop of white tissue paper.
Now glue the paper scraps down in various places.

When you're done, use mod podge (you can buy it at Dollar Tree) and paint over it all.

Hot glue thread or string to the back of the letter/number or letters/numbers so you can hang them up. Then your done! Enjoy!
